About the Photographer:

Welcome to my Photography website!

I'm Mauro Fondacaro, and I live in the small town of Cerveteri, 45km north of Rome, Italy. I share my life with my wonderful wife, Chiara, and our beautiful 9-year-old daughter, Stella Jane.

Photography is woven into the fabric of my family. My grandfather made a living in Milan, capturing the smiles of soldiers and their sweethearts in the city parks. My father, who assisted him as a boy, went on to photograph countless weddings of relatives and friends. My younger brother, Andrea, has also embraced this legacy as a professional ceremony photographer.

For me, photography is more than a profession—it's a passion.

I take pictures for the sheer joy of freezing a unique, unrepeatable moment through my lens. I love Black&White street photography, candid shots, portraiture, and capturing the essence of ordinary life.

Each photo I take is a testament to the beauty of the fleeting and the everyday, a story told through a single frame, a moment I was privileged to witness and record.
